 Black Diamond Necklace and Earing Review and Jumping Through Hoops Jun 05, 2008
My wife loved the Necklace and Earings I purchased for her for mother's day. As far as the experience in dealing with Amazon Customer service and the hoops I had to jump through to get it. Well that is enother story. They are either unfeeling, have no apathy for Customers or just don't understand English. To add insult to injury, they offered to pay my shipping after the item arrived three days after Mother's Day, and then had the temerity to offer us a coupon for $5 off our next purchase which will not be forthcoming!

I just want to say that this is a russian diamond. And its really small, but its nice.

Too Small ! The Picture makes the item appear larger than it is. Feb 09, 2008
It's a nice looking item but the chain and the studs are way to small to have any dramatic effect. Returned them the next day.

When I saw the picture on Amazon, I thought I was getting a deal. Even though I read the reviews which were poor, I decided to chance it and purchase this for my stepdaughter for Xmas. Now I must say that the earrings and the necklace were ok but I really had a problem with the cheap packaging (not even a box) just a pouch and even more so the chain link that came with the pendant. First of all it is the flimsiest link that I have ever seen, I don't even think it was white gold much less silver. Secondly, because this was so poorly packaged, the chain link was so twisted and tangled up that I could not even unravel it. I ended up having to go on Amazon again to order another chain link to replace this junk. Buyers beware when you choose to purchase this item. I normally try not to give a negative review (as I always think there is good in everything) but I had to write this review to warn innocent buyers.

I received this set as a Christmas gift. It was packaged in a blue velvet jewelry bag inside a nice dark blue jewelry box. The necklace chain is delicate, but I would not say flimsy. I have received so many compliments on both the earrings and necklace. They are simple, but beautiful- especially in the right light- they really sparkle. It's too bad that the other people who reviewed this set had such bad experiences.
